You arrive at an unmarked door in Chicago — perhaps tucked behind a gallery or up a velvet-draped stairway, known only to members and their guests. There’s a subtle energy in the air — the quiet hum of anticipation.
Inside, the space glows with low, warm light. Candles flicker. Deep velvets, polished woods, and rich textures invite you to stay, to savor. The air smells faintly of something luxurious — oud, leather, perhaps a hint of champagne.
There are around 20 to 40 people in attendance — beautifully diverse, effortlessly stylish, with an unspoken understanding: we are here to connect, to be curious, to explore.
The night unfolds naturally:
— You sip a bespoke cocktail while an avant-garde performance happens in a corner — a violinist and a dancer intertwined in a hypnotic display.
— Small clusters form in lounge areas, conversations slipping easily from art to philosophy to whispered confessions.
— An optional interactive experience is introduced — perhaps a sensual tasting, a game of hidden messages, or a masked flirtation — inviting you to step a little closer, if you choose.
— Consent is woven into every interaction giving you the freedom to say yes, no, or not yet.
The night could lead to a provocative exchange, a lasting friendship, a memory you didn’t expect — or simply a feeling of being part of something rare and beautiful.
At MAE, connection is never forced.
It’s simply... possible.
